MoOoOOovie Time!

I just wanna talk about movies right now. I'm PUMPED for some 2018 releases, a-hum: THE INCREDIBLES 2; Ocean's 8; Every Day; Love, Simon; I Feel Pretty (just to name a few).

I am 125% unqualified to review movies, but this is my blog and I'll pretend to be a reviewer if I want to. Here are some movies I've seen this/last year:

LADYBIRD
My goodness, what an honest movie. Absolutely loved it. No character is simple or without a full personality complete with all the dimensions. If you haven't yet, see this one for sure.

Ferdinand
Alrighty, this movie was amazing, and I'm a little confused as to why more people I've talked to haven't seen it. It's a great adaptation of a great story, I laughed and cried and felt like a better person after I watched it. If you think you're too old for animated movies, you need to grow up. Are you too old for colorful paintings and songs that rhyme too? Sorry. I get a little defensive of animated movies.

Thor: Ragnarock
My first Thor movie, and second-ever Marvel movie (I saw Iron Man), so I was a little behind on the background info, but the Chris Hemsworth/Tom Hiddleston duo won me over. It's an action-y movie with lots of battle scenes, but the dialogue is still solid and there's some pretty cool super-hero friend dynamics going on.

Now I wanna hear from you! What are you excited to see? What have you seen? What did you think? Comment your thoughts!

  1. Yeah, Ladybird was great. Pitch Perfect 3 is fun in a campy way. 3 Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri had characters that showed humanity in an unusual way. I liked it but wouldn't want to see it again. Whew!
