Where Do We Get It From?

Most of the time, people learn bad habits from someone. And teachers help break some of those bad habits. Well, some of the time. I do truly think that teachers are some of the building blocks of our lives, and by the end of the year, I've had a strong bond with all of my wonderful teachers, but, think about the last time you talked in class. The teacher is up there talking, when all of a sudden you share a comment. But, you probably did not finish that comment did you? The reason that you didn't finish that comment was probably because while you were in mid sentence, I'm guessing that the teacher said "don't interrupt". After thinking about that statement, you probably continued telling your idea. Well, the teacher probably caught their mistake, and therefore stepped back and announced that they would wait.

Well, now you're confused. So, your teacher interrupted you to break your habit of interrupting, but then they interrupt you again to tell you they would wait for you, but technically if they were to wait they wouldn't have interrupted you to say so because that's not technically waiting. We are supposed to follow their examples, right? (I'm guessing you'll have time to think about this in the hall). So make sure that when you try to break a habit, MOM I CAN'T RIGHT NOW I'M ON THE COMPUTER! you don't just reinforce it.
